The T531 steam turbine is a single - stage back - pressure steam turbine. It is equipped with a velocity - compounded stage impeller with a pitch - circle diameter of 800 millimeters. The rated rotational speed of the main shaft is 3000 revolutions per minute, and the power range is 300 - 1500 kW. The main feature of this model is the adoption of a chassis - type lubricating oil tank, which features a compact structure. It uses superheated steam as the steam source to drive an asynchronous motor for power generation, realizing the cascade utilization of energy, thus achieving the goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction.

Emergency Shut-off Device
The emergency shut-off device is a protective mechanism that prevents the rotor from exceeding the allowable rotational speed, installed on the main oil pump casing connected to the main shaft. The emergency shut-off device used in this unit is a centrifugal flyweight type, which has an eccentric weight mounted radially on the main oil pump casing. At normal rotational speeds, a spring force balances it. When the unit's speed exceeds the rated speed by 9-11%, the flyweight is thrown out, causing the emergency shut-off throttle to disengage and activate.
